D365 SCM Functional Consultant - Implementation & Support
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible to get engaged in all activities related to operations & customer transitions, also work to make sure to optimize the satisfaction of the Customer and maintain excellent quality and efficiency.
As a Functional Consultant, you will be working with geographical teams / sub-teams delivering Dynamics AX Support and Implementation services to Columbus clients. You will have responsibilities across solutions, work on support cases, cases allocation, and coordinate for development, quality management, communication, mentoring, knowledge management and performance management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience in AX 2012, D365FO preferable Implementation/Operations experience in SCM - Trade/Logistics and Distribution, Advance Warehouse Management areas.
- Ideal candidates will have domain experience and Cross Industry knowledge in the Manufacturing, Distribution or Food Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong relevant industry background is desirable. Good to have End to End ERP Operations/implementations experience in functional roles in the operations and support domain.
- Good to have some knowledge of service management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, etc.
- Proven consultative experience in a functional role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Must Haves
- Preferred knowledge of implementation and experience in Trade & Logistics / Advanced Warehousing.
- Involved in projects from analysis, go live & operations preferably onsite presence at the customer post go-live
- Exposure to working in a large, complex AX environment and providing support on the strategic importance to the organization involving cross-functional teams
- Work with onsite project teams and customers to design and understand functional requirements and own delivery of solutions from offshore development team
- Work independently on allocated tasks related to operation daily basis.
- Based in India however there are travel possibilities to customer sites for direct involvement with customers/presence on customer site
- Works with the offshore consultancy manager to help improve processes and procedures in the consultancy department.
- Being responsive to customer's requests, engaging in listening and aligning expectations within the defined processes
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to work in a consulting environment are critical
- Must have leadership skills and personal strength to protect the assigned operational task from unforeseen changes while ensuring excellent customer experience focus remains in place.
- Travel internationally and domestically as and when required.
Nice to Haves
- Relevant Microsoft Certification in AX/D365
- Good to have ISV and other tools Knowledge like LaserNet, BIS, Invoice WorkFlow, PowerApps, etc.
